bulk edits · metafields

Fill your metafields without a spreadsheet.

Metafields hold your specs, care steps, and filter values. Editing them in bulk usually means a CSV, a column by hand, and a re-import. Fillwell writes each product's value in place, one metafield or many at once.

the problem

Why metafields stay empty and out of date.

Metafields are the right place for this data. The old way of editing them is slow, so it does not get done. Here is an easier way:

No CSV round trip

No export, no column by hand, no re-import. Fillwell writes the value right in your store.

A value per product

A capacity or a spec is different for each product. Fillwell writes the right one for each.

Always the right format

A number stays a number, a date stays a date. A wrong shape is caught before it saves.

the run

How it works

1

Pick one or many

One metafield, or several. Each is reviewed on its own before it saves.

2

Choose the value

A fixed value for all, or an AI value written per product, in the right format.

3

Approve, with undo

Review a page at a time or run it in bulk, change any row, undo anything after.

good to know

Common questions

Which metafields can it edit?

Product metafields that have a definition, yours and ones other apps made. Not JSON or rich text. The editor uses the metafield's own type.

Can it change values that already exist?

Yes, that is the point of a bulk edit. The queue shows a page of new values before it saves. A bulk run saves them all, and the change report lists every one. The log keeps old and new, and undo reverts it.

What if the value has to be a set format?

The format is part of the job. A number stays a number, a date stays a date. A wrong shape is caught before it saves.

What does it cost?

Bulk edits need a paid plan. On one, AI values use AI credits, and you see the count before you run anything. The scan is free on every plan.

you're in control

Approve each change, or bulk fill and undo anything.

AI can do this work. It shouldn't do it alone. Fillwell is built that way on purpose.

  • You guide it. Tell it what to do in plain words.
  • It skips when unsure. It never guesses into your live store.
  • You can undo anything. One row, one page, or all of it, for 30 days.

Your store. Your decision.
